2025 TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE

The first Rose Parade was held in 1890, January 1st. The parade has continued to be held annually, displaying floats decorated with flowers, equestrians, and most honorably, the marching bands.

• Los Angeles Unified School District Honor Band

• Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band & Herald Trumpets
• Rancho Verde High School 
• Salvation Army Tournament of Roses Band
• Seminole High School Warhawk Marching Band
• The Woodlands High School Marching Band
• Bands from the two universities participating in the Quarterfinals

The honor band itself is a group of 230 students, most consisting of the Pasadena City College marching band, and a select few being band students who are chosen from any high school in California. The Honor band has been performing in the Rose Parade every year since 1930.
